How do I... start communication with my matches?
Obviously, the first step in finding out if one of your matches is right for you is to communicate with them. Rarely both you and your match you're interested in communicating with are online at the same time, so how do you increase your chances of getting them to notice you or respond to your questions? You can begin communication with your matches in the following ways: 1. Be first to ask questions: Nothing breaks the ice like a few good questions about your match. From your "My Matches" section, click the "be first to ask questions" link and choose from the list of questions to send to your match. 2. You can always "cue member" from your action toolbox on your "My Matches" page. This functionality sends an email reminder to that user to remember you are there. 3. Request a Beeline: Want to speed things up? The "Request Beeline" button sends an email to the selected match, which asks them if they would like to skip communication steps and immediately create an open connection.
